Labradorite and Black Star Diopside, Spinel, Black Tourmaline Smithsonian Necklace
This is another Stunning Statement necklace designed for the opening of the Smithsonian’s No Spectators: The Art of BurningMan Exhibit at the Renwick Gallery in Washington DC. The centerpiece is a 42mm wide Lavender and gold tone Labradorite set in Matte Black Peyote Stitch. There is gold tone Antique Steel cut beads accenting the black Peyote Stitch. The center stone is a 24mm wide Labradorite. The bottom stone is a 12mm diameter Black Star Sapphire. The choker section has 4 rows of faceted Black Spinel gemstones and is accented by Faceted Brass African Beads. The rear has a 14k gold fill lobster clasp that is adjustable. There is also strands of braided wax linen fringe with african brass beads hanging down the back from the clasp area as an added accent to the back. Looks great with evening gowns that have a lower back. There are two long black Wax Linen braided strands running down the front with Black Tourmaline Crystals and Brass faceted African Bead accents. One strand hangs down 23 “ at longest point and the other hangs 28”. This is all one piece! Ready to be worn to your next Gala event!!!
